  • Kris mcgee, LEAD PASTOR

    Kris graduated from Wheaton College and Dallas Theological Seminary. Before coming to Leawood Baptist Church in 2020, Kris served in a variety of roles on four church staffs mainly focusing on shepherding, teaching, counseling, and developing leaders.  He enjoys getting a front row seat as he watches God transform people's lives. 

  • Adam Carter, ASSOCIATE Pastor

    Adam graduated from Maranatha Baptist University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. After college, he served as a Minister to Students for four years. Adam has a heart to see people of all ages glorifying God together and has been at Leawood since 2015, first as Lead Pastor for 5 years and now as Associate Pastor overseeing small groups and pastoral interns.


  • Jason Franklin, Worship Pastor

    Jason graduated from California Baptist University and Biola.  He has been involved in church revitalization for over 20 years as a pastor using his gifts to lead worship, teach, and engage in community development.  Jason has a passion to help the church see themselves as missionaries to the culture and community around them.   Jason joined the Leawood Baptist Church team in 2017.


  • Linda Keller, Financial Secretary

    Linda has been a member of LBC since 1991. She has filled many roles at the church and is currently serving on the Finance & Stewardship Team and as LBC's Financial Secretary.  She brings with her years of experience as an Engineering Administrative Assistant with Massman Construction in Kansas City, MO. 

  • Roxanne Adrian, Instrumentalist

    Roxanne began her position as a pianist at Leawood in October 2007. She attended Baptist Bible College and Southwestern Missouri State University in Springfield, where she received her Master of Arts in Music Education with Honor Diploma for Piano.  For 10 years, she taught in the music department at Baptist Bible College. Following that, she served on staff at another local church before making her way to Leawood.

  • STEPHEN ELLISON, PASTORAL FELLOW

    Stephen hales from Birmingham, AL and graduated from Samford University in May of 2018. In August of 2018 he began his studies at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and joined LBC as a Timothy Track intern. He completed LBCs Revitalization Residency and served as a Pastoral Intern previously.
