  • Adam Carter, LEAD Pastor

    Adam became Lead Pastor on May 31, 2015, after completing his Pastoral Residency at Wornall Road Baptist Church through the North American Mission Board. He earned his Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and his B.A. in Church Ministries from Maranatha Baptist University. After college, Adam served as a Minister to Students for four years and has a heart to see people of all ages glorifying God together. Adam enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Marilane, and their three children.

  • Jason Franklin, Worship Pastor

    Jason joined the Leawood Baptist Church family in September of 2017. He earned his B.A. in Fine Arts Ministry from California Baptist University and his M.A. in Intercultural Studies from Biola University. Jason and his family served churches in California, Nebraska, and Colorado before joining us in the Kansas City area.

  • Linda Keller, Financial Secretary

    Linda has been a member of LBC since 1991. She has filled many roles at the church and is currently serving on the Finance & Stewardship Team and as LBC's Financial Secretary.  She brings with her years of experience as an Engineering Administrative Assistant with Massman Construction in Kansas City, Mo. 

  • Roxanne Adrian, Instrumentalist

    Roxanne began her position as a pianist at LBC in October 2007. She attended Baptist Bible College and Southwestern Missouri State University in Springfield, where she received her Master of Arts in Music Education with Honor Diploma for Piano.  For 10 years, she taught in the music department at Baptist Bible College. Following that, she was on staff of Liberty Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kansas, for 15 years.

Revitalization Residency

The Revitalization Residency is an internship designed to help prospective church leaders explore their vocational calling, be equipped for pastoral ministry, be exposed to church revitalization & replanting, and engage in missional living. The residency is a twelve month program, beginning in September and ending in August of the following year. The residency consists of 3 distinct experiences: Resident Gatherings, Participation in Leadership Meetings, and involvement in ministry at Leawood Church.

  • Stephen Ellison

    Stephen hales from Birmingham, AL and graduated from Samford University in May of 2018. In August of 2018 he began his studies at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and joined LBC as a Timothy Track intern. He completed LBCs Revitalization Residency and continues to serve as Pastoral Intern.
